What's In My School MakeUp Bag ?

So getting ready to go back to school has been crazy, and summer has flown way too fast. Even though I should of done this blogpost earlier, I am going to show you what's in my mini back to school make up bag. Now I don't wear a lot of makeup to school, and I don't take my foundation and everything to school because I don't need it, but I do have a few things in a makeup bag, so if i need to, I can top up my makeup throughout the day!
So here is my makeup bag, I bought this off Primark because they have a nice range of them and they are super cheap. This one has a leather texture, it's cream and has black polka dots on it.. It was £2.50 or £3, which is a bargain. I picked this one up because it is an ideal size and I liked that is has 2 zips, because it has 2 compartments.

So the first thing I have in my makeup bag is Soap And Glory Hand Food, which is just a small travel size hand moisturizer that I got from Boots for £2.50. It smells amazing and keeps my hands feeling super nice all day long.

The next product is my most definite 'Must Have' that you should all own. It's one of my Baby Lips Lipbalms. I keep the clear one in 'Hydrate' in my makeup bag, because I don't want any colour on my lips, but this is amazing for moisturizing my lips. These are £2.99 and I highly recommend them to everyone.
Maybelline Baby Lips in 'Hydrate.
Next is a new found love for me, it's an eyeshadow pencil/crayon from Collection, and it's amazing. I don't wear heavy eye makeup for school, but I like to have a little bit of colour on my eyelids and these are perfect. I have the light pink one, and it's creamy and makes a difference but it isn't too crazy! They are also super cheap, and they last all day. They are perfect for a natural looking makeup look. They are metallic and not matte, but they just look natural and gorgeous on all eye colours.

Every girl, should have a pressed powder in their makeup bag, especially if they have oily skin. I carry mine because adding a bit of powder half through the day, will keep your makeup looking fresh. I use Barbara Daly pressed powder from Tesco, which is very good but I would also recommend Rimmels Stay Matte Powder.

Also in my makeup bag, I keep one of my mascara's. Recently I have been loving Maybelline's Great Lash mascara. I love it because it has quite a small brush, so your eyes don't look heavy, it isn't clumpy, and it also doesn't smudge. But it's very handy to keep a mascara in your bag, if you have to top it up through the day.
Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in 'Very Black'.
It's also very handy to keep a little purfume or spray in your bag, so you are smelling lovely all day long.
I like to keep a mini Jack Wills Fontwell Scent perfume in my bag, as it smells amazing! And it's really handy  because it's a little rollerball perfume, and it's the perfect size to keep in my bag.

For body spray, I like to keep it cheap and simple, so I use Impulse, which is a really nice and cheap brand, that have their sprays in most shops. I love their new scent 'Sweet Smile'. If you're looking for a cheap spray, then go and check out the Impulse range, because they have such a variety of scents.
I just find it really handy to have a spray in your bag, to keep topped up throughout the day.

The next item, I simply can't live without.. A concealer. As a teen girl, concealer will be your best friend, and to me it's essential. It will keep you looking fresh throughout the day and it will cover up any breakouts and correct anything. I have been loving Maybelline's FIT Me concealer, Collection's Lasting Perfection concealer and Miss Sporty's Liquid concealer.
Maybelline FIT Me Concealer in shade '10'.
Lastly, I would always keep a compact mirror in my bag. Not to be vein, but to check how you're looking throughout the day.
Mark Hill Compact Mirror.
I haven't included everything, but I have covered the essentials..You could even pop in some little things, such as bobbles and clips.
I hope that this has been helpful, and given you some ideas on what to include in your makeup bag. Sorry that this post has gone up when everyone is already back at school.

The Liebster Award

I have been nominated!
Hello Everyone! Today is a pretty special day as I have been nominated for The Liebster Award by the lovely Chloe Francis. So thanks again to her for nominating me!
The Leibster Award is aimed for new bloggers who have less than 200 followers, and it helps people to discover new blogs, so you can build up a wider audience.

The Rules of The Liebster Award:
1) You must link back to the person that nominated you
2) You must answer the 11 Liebster questions given to you by the nominee before you
3) You must pick 11 bloggers to be nominated for the award with under 200 followers
4) You must come up with 11 questions for your nominees to answer
5) You must go to their blogs and notify your nominees

Questions from Chloe Francis ..

1) You are only allowed to use one beauty product for the rest of your life - What is it?
It's a tough question but I would have to choose concealer because it is my best friend. It covers any imperfections, and wearing concealer alone, makes my skin look a lot more flawless. It just does the job I need it to do, and I couldn't live without it.
2) Where is your favourite holiday destination?
Portugal by far! I go there every year and it is just amazing, the weather is beautiful and the desinations on the Algarve we go to are gorgeous.
3) What is your favourite music album right now?
I've been loving all different types of songs recently, so I would have to say 'Now That's What I Call Music 85' because it features so many different varieties.
4) What was the first ever makeup product you owned?
If I remember rightly, when I was about 10, I got an eyeshadow set full of pink and purple colours.
5) What made you start blogging?
I had been watching Zoella, Tanya Burr and SprinkleOfGlitter on YouTube, and I had been reading their blogs for a while, and I thought it was a good idea to start one myself because it looked like a fun hobby and I quite like makeup and beauty related things.
6) Where do you want to be in 10 years time?
Hopefully doing something to do with the film/tv industry, whether it's infront of the camera, or behind the camera.
7) Where is your favourite place to shop?
For clothes, I would have to say Topshop, and for beauty products I would choose Boots.
8) What is your favourite movie?
My all time favourite films are the Harry Potter collection or LOL.
9) What is your favourite type of clothing?
Either Topshop, or atmosphere in Primark can have some very nice things.
10) The deal breaker question... Cats or Dogs?
I have to say Dogs because I'm allergic to Cats.
11) One random fact about yourself?
My random fact is that I'm not ticklish.

Bloggers I have Nominated for the Award:
1) Jessie
2) Chloe
3) Carolyn
4) Evie
5) Emily
6) Holly
7) Hester
8) Jade
9) Annie
10) Lynn
11)Elizabeth
Questions that I am asking:
1) What is the one beauty product that you can't leave the house without?
2) Favourite Makeup Brand?
3) Why did you start a blog?
4) How did you come up with your blogger name?
5) Favourite makeup product?
6) Who is your biggest inspiration?
7) What kind of style do you have?
8) What is your favourite season?
9) What is the most expensive makeup product you own?
10)  Who is your favourite beauty blogger?
11) Share one beauty tip?

Thanks to anyone who votes for me, and thanks to anyone who takes time to read my blog and a huge thank you to anyone to comments.

Beauty Haul

Today's blog is a little beauty haul of what beauty products I bought today. If you like this blog and would like to see more hauls then please let me know.

First off we went ti M.A.C because I wanted another eyeshadow to go in my palette. I chose a light brown coloured one in the shade 'Wedge'. I hope to use this with some of the other colours I have to create a summery light coloured smokey eye effect. M.A.C eyeshadows are a bit pricey but they are definitely worth the money! If you have an extra bit of cash, or you want to treat yourself, then I would definitely recommend getting some of their eyeshadows.

I then went to Boots, which is a 'drugstore' in the UK, and I finally got my hands on the Maybelline Baby Lips. I've waited for these to come out in the UK for so long, so when I saw them I had to get them. They are only £2.99 each, which is a bargain. I purchased them in 'Hydrate' and 'Intense Care'.
They're really good, they have SPF in them and they keep your lips hydrated all day, even through the heat and I can already notice a difference through having them one for just one day.
The next thing I bought is the Nivea Daily Essentials, 2 in 1 Cleanser and Toner for normal skin. I re-purchased this product because it is so good! and because it's a 2 in 1 and I can get super lazy with looking after my skin but this product makes it so much quicker. After washing my face I put it on using a cotton pad and it moisturises my face and removes any excess makup.
It leaves my skin feeling really refreshed and in the mornings it looks a lot healthier.
If you are looking for a good cleanser and toner, get this one because it's also quite cheap!
The last thing I purchased is some more cotton wool pads. I got the double faced ones, which are the larger ones because they are much easier to use.
I just buy Boot's own because they are quite cheap.
I've found that I have to use about 3 of the smaller ones to cleanse my face, or 1 large one.
So I got the large ones, I re-purchase these because they do exactly what they are meant to do and they are super soft on my skin.

July Beauty Favourites

I am back to posting about beauty products today, and I thought I would share with you just a couple of my most recent favourite purchases!

This is the product I've been loving most recently. I picked up the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in the shade Very Black because I think it brings out my eyes more. I picked this mascara up because in the summer I like to wear a lighter mascara, so I wanted one with a small thin brush.
I can honestly say that this product is amazing! It defines your lashes really nicely, it doesn't smudge and it lasts all day!
Also, if you live in the UK like me, then in Tesco it's down to only £4.99 which is a bargain for such a good mascara.
The bottle in 'Very Black'
The small brush which is ideal for me.
What my eye looks like with it on.

The next product that I recently bought is the Sleek, Blush By 3 palette in 'Lace'. The palette contains three shades. There is an Orange, Rose Gold and Coral Pink blush inside. The Orange and Coral Pink are matte blushes and the one in the middle which is Rose Gold is a shimmery blush. They all look quite nice on and they brighten up your face making you look very summery.
My favourite is the middle one which is the shade 'Rose Gold', it's shimmery and looks really nice.
All the shades are easily blended in and as they are fully pigmented, then they last all day.
So this is the box.. oh how interesting.
What the shades are.

What they look like.
My last favourite new product is the Real Techniques Core Collection. In this set you get the Contour brush, the Pointed Foundation brush, the Detailer brush and the Buffing brush.
I bought the set off Amazon, and it even comes with a Panoramic Black Case to keep all your brushes in on the go.
I use the Contour brush to add highlighter, bronzer and blusher to my face and the Detailer brush for concealer. I have been using the Buffing brush for foundation so I haven't used the foundation brush as much.
They are all amazing and make applying your makeup a lot easier. The brushes are super soft on your skin and leave my face looking perfect.
I will definitely be purchasing more Real Techniques brushes because they are just brilliant and I would recommend them to everyone, so If you haven't tried them, then I urge you too.

The box.
The Panoramic Case with the brushes inside.

Hope you have liked the beauty post. I have also been thinking about starting a YouTube channel, let me know if you think that's a good idea.
See you very soon x

Summer Body Care Favourites

This post is up earlier that usual because I'm off to Italy in a few hours! This week, I'd thought that I'd let you know some of my favourite summery/bodycare products that I have been loving and that I'll be using whilst I'm away.

The first item that I have been loving recently is the Rimmel London Glam'Eyes trio in '730 spices'. It's a trio of neutral eye-shadows that are perfect if you don't want a really bold look. I love this on summer days because it's natural, but you can still tell you're wearing eye-shadow. There's a very natural beige/pink colour, a none glittery gold shade and a light brown. They last all day and they are super pretty.
After a day in the sun, I like to put a bit of 'After Sun' on, to moisturize my body and to maintain any tan I get. For years I used the Garnier one and it's really good but it's not a spray one, it's cream which is a lot of effort. So I came across this Nivea one in Tesco and it's spray so I had to get it and it's so good! Does the job and it's super easy and quick to apply.

This has got to be my favourite product to tell you about. The new Radox Berry Burst body wash. I got it for £1 which is a bargain anyway, but it smells absolutely amazing! It's like you've just been pelted with berries! It's nice and smooth on your skin and the fragrance is just so fruity, I just love it!
So if you haven't tried it, then please do.

When I go on holiday or just in the sun, my hair tends to go quite dry so I purchased the small Mark Hill Sunset Smoother After Sun Shampoo & Conditioner. (Only the conditioner is in the picture because I used up all the shampoo). For a first, the packaging is really bright so it stood out to me.
It soothes your hair and leaves it really hydrated although it does smell a bit strange, but it's alright because it does my hair a good job. I just think, if you're going on holiday then it's quite a good little purchase.

I always try new shampoo's because there I don't like to keep to the same routine all the time, it's nice to change. So a couple of weeks ago I picked the Herbal essences Dazzling Shine 2in1 shampoo and conditioner.
Even though it looks blue, it's yellow! Its a blue/green bottle and it's yellow inside.
My hair is a bit dry and damaged from heat and when I use this, it leaves my hair feeling really smooth and soft! It's a miracle for me, it just feels really nice to put on and my hair just feels and looks so much less damaged! I love it and would seriously recommend it.

Because I loved the 2in1 shampoo and conditioner so much, I thought I would also go and buy the Herbal Essence Dazzling Shine Conditioner. Some people might think that's a bit strange because the other one is a 2in1 but the ends of my hair are dry so I needed a good conditioner as well.
This is just as amazing as the 2in1 shampoo & conditioner except that the conditioner smells a bit different. Even though the smell isn't too appealing, my hair feels brilliant after using as it. It just feels and looks much more hydrated and healthy.

For summer McDonalds have brought back their iced smoothies. The flavours are 'strawberry and banana' or 'mango and pineapple'. Even though they don't usually appeal to me, I decided to get one. I got the strawberry and banana one and it was so nice! It's only £1.99 and it's really refreshing and cool. So if you're out in town and need something to cool to refresh you, then you should get one of these.

Hope you've enjoyed this blog. Feel free to leave any comments or feedback!

The Rainbow Beauty Tag

Sorry that I haven't posted in a while, but I have been so busy lately! So today's post is a new beauty tag called #TheRainbowTag. Where you use colours from the rainbow and say your favourite beauty product of that colour. Now as I was choosing products, I realized I don't have anything that is Indigo, so I replaced Indigo with purple.

So the first colour is RED. I chose my BaByliss Curling Wand. This is really easy to use and it's quite cheap. I like it because you can use it to do loose curls, or tight. Also, you can change the temperature of the wand. The only bad thing is that it doesn't have a clamp, so you do have to hold your hair.

Next is YELLOW, I picked my L'OREAL paris, ELVIVE- Repairing Shampoo. I purchased this about a month ago, and I've used it every time I washed my hair since. It's amazing and smells gorgeous. It leaves your hair feeling soft and I like it because it doesn't leave your hair knotty.

So for PINK, I couldn't choose between these two Lush products. But as I love them both, I have added them both. They are the Lush Bubblegum flavoured Lip Scrub, and The Melting Marshmallow Moment bath bomb. Now they smell amazing, the nicest things I've ever smelt! So basically you rub the lip scrub on your lips and it leaves them really soft and then my favourite bit, you can lick the rest of your lips because it's sugar. The bath bomb smells exactly the same, and it just looks like a big marshmallow, and it turns the bath pink. If you haven't tried them, then you should.

For GREEN, I picked the BarryM Nail Paint in shade 304- Mint Green. I adore this colour because it's great for summer. You do have to put a few coats of it on to get the full colour, but it's lovely and looks so nice when you have a tan!

So for ORANGE, I picked my Rimmel London Scandaleyes Mascara in Black. This mascara is really good because the brush is so big. It gives my eyes good definition and it lasts for ages. I have re-purchased this 3 times now.

For PURPLE, I have two products because I couldn't chose. So I picked TRESemme Superior Hold Hairspray. This is a great hairspray and doesn't leave my hair crispy. But the best thing about it is the smell, it's the nicest smelling hairspray ever, it's just gorgeous.

I also got stuck picking for BLUE, so I have two of these as well. I have one of  Topshop's Nail Varnish's in the shade 'AirKisses.' I wrote about this in my Topshop haul which you should check out because I gave a review about it. The colour is so bright and looks great. And I wore it for a whole week without it chipping! The scond BLUE product is the Jack Wills, Ladies Luxury Body Wash in English Velvet. This smells so nice, and it's nearly all gone now:( It isn't too dear and it's just lovely.

The last product is the RAINBOW coloured product. I have chosen one of  The Body Shop's body washes. I got the Love Etc. one and it smells delightful, girly and floral but now over powering. I put it in the Rainbow colour because it has loads of upside hearts in different colours all over it. I only got the tester size which is small and only 60ml, but I take it with me when I go travelling and it's great, I would definitely go and get a bigger one.

So that is my Rainbow Beauty Tag complete. I hope you enjoyed reading about some of my favourite products. If you have done this tag comment below, or just leave your opinion below. Thanks

Make-Up..March Favourites

After thinking of what to blog about, I decided that it's only a couple of days into April so I would do a blog of the make-up products that I have loved the most in March.
So, i have chosen the five products that I have loved the most, so here they are :

First of all is the M.A.C Plush Lash Mascara, which was around £15. M.A.C isn't the cheapest brand but the all their products are of high quality. I got given this mascara as a gift and it's a great mascara that gives a good even coverage on your eyelashes. I have this mascara in black but I think this would also look really good in a brown/black shade because it whether you have a lot of it on or just a thin coat it looks lovely and stays quite well. Also, it stays on all day without smudging! It has a large 'fat' brush, that gives your eyelashes good length but it isn't clumpy, even though it has a big brush, it's easy to apply and doesn't smudge underneath your eyes!  Also, it is quite easy to remove with a normal make up wipe.

The second product that I have chosen is the CLINIQUE  Chubby Stick. They are around £10-£15 depending from where you get it from. Now I've never really been a lipstick lover, but when lipstick brands started bringing out nude colours, I started to like them. I get dry lips quite often and I never found a lipstick that would moisturize and have a great colour until I saw this. I'd heard a lot about these Chubby Sticks so I went and purchased one in the shade 06 Woppin' Watermelon. It is literally amazing. It's a baby pink shade but it doesn't make your lips really light, like a barbie doll, just a bit lighter, a nice shade. The best thing about this product is the fact that it moisturizes really well! It's not glossy, just matte but with a slight shine, which is good and it's highly pigmented which lasts throughout the day. Finally, because it is shaped like a crayon, then it is easy and quick to apply. If you haven't tried one of these, then I urge you too! It's a must have! And it comes in many different colours.

Another item that I have been loving lately is the Jack Wills Ladies Fragrance Rollerball. This mini perfume, fits great into your handbag and it smells amazing. I bought mine for £14.50. I find it hard to describe scents but it's just lovely, it's kind of flowery and girly but it's not that strong and over-powering it is just enough and I suppose it has a vintage side to it as well. You should go and try it because I have hopeless at describing things well! There is a slight difference between this one and another one, this one has blue writing on the box and there is another Jack Wills perfume with pink writing on the box, which isn't as nice because to me it was too over powering, but the one I have is called 'Fontwell Rollerball Scent' if that is any help? I came across this in the a Jack Wills shop, so I don't know if you can get it on the website, but I'm sure you can. Anyway it smells lovely and will be nice to wear as it is spring because it is a light perfume that just smells gorgeous.

Now this product, is a little handy thing that I thought I would add in, even though I've had it for a couple of months now, it is the AVON Perfect Eyebrow Pencil. I think it was around £3 which is a bargain. I think this is a great product because it has an eyebrow pencil one end and a brush on the other, so it's 2 in 1. I have this in the shade 'Blonde' because I'm blonde, (obviously aha) and it's perfect, I don't draw on my eyebrows completely  I only touch them up and fill in gaps and it does a really good job, I now use it daily.

Last but certainly not least on my March Beauty Favourites is the L'OREAL Paris Super Liner, Ultra Precision Eyeliner. I draw on my eye liner daily and out of all the liquid eyeliners that I have tried, this is one of the best. Its like a thin felt tip, and it's soft which makes it even easier to apply. I don't usually have a thick line of eyeliner, but this can do any.. it's easy for a thin line or a thick. I like black eyeliners and its high pigmented and looks fab, it doesn't smudge and it lasts all day.  It is easy to remove as well, which is a good thing. The price of this eyeliner is around £7-£8 pound and I suppose that is kind a bit pricey for a high street (drug store) brand, but it is definitely worth it.

Well, they have been my favourite make up products this past month. I hope you have enjoyed reading this, please let me know (by commenting)  if you have tried these products or if there is any products that you think I should try!

Get To Know Me

Hello, my name is Erin Williams and this will be my blog.
I've set one up because my friend  +Ellie Jones set up a blog because she has great things to tell people and she didn't want to set up a blog on her own, so I thought that I would create one aswell.

My Blog posts are slightly more varied, covering beauty, life stories, teenage life and maybe a bit of fashion.

This first blog might be slightly boring as it is going to be all about myself, my family and my friends. Purely so you can get to know me because my blogs probably won't say much about me as a person, but beware as I am not so great as describing myself.

My full name is just Erin Williams because I don't have a middle name:( and I'm about 5ft6''. I have long dark blonde hair and deep blue eyes. I am from Flintshire, in North Wales (UK) so I am Welsh and proud. I speak fluent welsh, english, and a bit of french and portuguese.
I have an older brother called Adam who is 19 and I live with him and my Mum & Dad. Altogether I have a large family who mainly live in North Wales but also I have family scattered everywhere, I have relatives who live close to me in Wales, but also family who live further away like in Cumbria (North West of England), New Zealand and Canada.
Here is a recent picture of me..

I'm really lucky because me and my family go abroad a couple of times a year, whether we go skiing or sunbathing, I get to visit countries like France, Portugal, Switzerland etc. But sometime I would love to travel to America !
Here is a couple of pictures from last years holidays!

I have many friends, and I enjoy life. I am quite sporty and love to play netball, yet I'm interested in beauty, blogging and fashion aswell.
I don't take life that seriously, no matter what I do I can make great fun of it, so me and my best friends Ellie & Megan set up a YouTube account of things we have done, videos we have made and events we have been too, please check it out.. http://www.youtube.com/user/erinelliemegan

I hope you like my blog and here is all my links to get in touch with me...
