Are You Yourself ?

This is just a quick blog to those people out there that aren't the most confident of people.
I've had life quite easy because I haven't really ever gone through anything major. I'm not here to brag at all but I had a great childhood and have never been bullied so I never really understand how people can become depressed over things.  I have a few friends that are scared to tell people things, afraid to stand up for themselves. Which is hard for me to understand because I'm quite a confident person.
One friend in particular puts herself down all the time because she doesn't look the same as someone else, or doesn't have the same figure as someone else. What she doesn't understand is that we all look different for a reason, I find that you shouldn't compare yourself to anyone else, because if god wanted us to be the same he would of made us all the same. Everyone's unique and it takes a while for people to understand that.
If you have boy troubles, if you think your not good enough because you don't think your pretty enough, or skinny enough then your wrong. Don't think that just because your different that your not good enough  Your fine the way you are. If your not happy the way you are then change it otherwise you might have to deal with it. ''Don't Be A Girl That Needs A Man, Be A Girl A Man Needs''.
If that person really likes you then they will accept you for who you are. But if they are embarrassed to be with you then they're not worth it. If that person doesn't like you because your not the 'barbie perfect' type then it's their loss.
Don't change for anyone, and be confident for who you are.
Much Love x

Topshop Haul

Thought I'd do a fashion blog today, so I decided to do a 'Topshop Haul', these are the items that I have bought from Topshop in the last 2/3 weeks.
The pictures make them quite unflattering, but I will soon be doing a 'spring outfits' blog, wear I will wear a lot of these clothes, so you can see them on.

So the first item, that is probably my favourite one is this Aztec Print blue and white dress. Now I'm not really the type of girl that wears dresses to go out in the day, but when I saw this I loved it. It fits perfectly and has a zip up the side. It's tight and then flares out a bit but not too much. It has a lace up back which looks so pretty and I think this will be great for when I go on holiday and as a lovely summer dress. So I was happy because it's a dress that suits me. Plus it was £34 pound which isn't a bad price for a good quality and detailed dress.

Next thing I purchased was another pair of their frilly ankle socks because I think they are so cosy and they look really nice with shorts and vans. I also have a grey pair of these and I wear them a lot so I bought the white pair. On me, they suit vans and converse but they go lovely with dresses, skater skirts or with shorts. They are £3.50 each or you can get 3 for £8. As the weather gets nicer, I will probably go and buy more pairs because Topshop does so many designs of them.

Next thing I bought was a plain grey vest, it's pretty basic, on the picture it looks huge but I can promise you it's not huge. It's just a loose fit vest that will be nice for me just to place over my bikini on holiday, or to lounge around the house in. It's good because in the summer, I just like to throw a vest and top on and this will be perfect for that. Plus, even though it's only grey, I like the colour. This was £6, or you could get 2 for £10. Now I got 2 for £10 because I got this grey one and my Mum got a dark red one, haha.

Now I bought these leggings a couple of weeks back, but I thought I would add in this haul because I have wore them a lot and I just really like them. They're just dark red / burgundy leggings. They are quite thick and you can't see anything through them. Some days I come home and I just want something to lounge around in and these are great for that. I think they were around £18 and they go with quite a lot of things, you can either dress it up with a blouse or just lounge about in them with a vest.

This is also one of my favourite purchases. It is a figure hugging but stretchy crop top and I got it in white because I don't have many white things. I have been looking for this kind of top for a while, but there was so much choice. I chose white because I don't have many white things and it makes my tan stand out more. On me, I think this will look nice with denim shorts and it was only £8. I just think I will wear it a lot this summer because it is so versatile.

Again, this isn't my best photography, but I got this Long sleeve Check Shirt for £29. On the picture it looks absolutely huge, but I can assure you it's only just longer than an average shirt. I like the colours and it goes with loads of things I have wore this a few times with shorts and tights, but personally I prefer wearing it tucked into jeans. The sleeves roll up and it has a top button so it is good no matter what the weather is like.
The last thing I purchased was one of Topshops Nail Varnish's. I've heard loads of  people say how good these are so I went out and purchased one. I got this bright blue one in the shade 'Air Kisses'. It dries fast and has a lovely glossy finish. It was £5 and I would definitely go and buy some more shades. If you don't own any of their nail varnish's, you should definitely go and get one. I find that the best thing about this nail varnish is that it doesn't chip to easily, so it stays pretty firm, and also the range of colours Topshop have.

Unplanned Is The Way Forward

Today I thought I would write a lifestyle post. A bit of advice.
Sometimes the very best dates are the ones you have no idea are going to happen. Yet, whether you're a girly girl or not, you probably have some sort of process of preparing for a romantic date with a boy, but nowadays, I find myself on days with friends, family dates, not really on dates with lads, but that's fine with me. No matter how you much preparation you put into things, they will probably go wrong.

Back to my point, for me, if me and my friends plan something perfectly it's not as good compared with the days that you don't plan yet you end up having a lovely day.
I'm just saying, don't try and plan everything out in your head, (perfect days and perfect situations) because their will always be something that messes it up. Just take everything as it comes.

I've brought this subject up because I've recently fell in love with the film LOL and the TV drama Awkward, many of my friends say that Awkward resembles parts of my life, which I agree with (if you haven't seen it then check it out! new series starts on Tuesday April 16). Whereas LOL must be the cutest film ever, I just love it so much. It's about Lola (Miley Cyrus) and her love life and how she falls in love with a lad called Kyle (Douglas Booth) - (HOT).. it's a perfect relationship by the end, and a typical way of falling in love. Trust me it is a cute film, a real chick flick. ( I recommend you watch it ).
My point is that everyone thinks that their love life is going to turn out like all these amazing love films, such as The Notebook. Films are written by scriptwriters, then can make perfect moments happen whereas in real life it doesn't happen like that. If you single or in a relationship, don't expect it to be perfect like all these films. Also don't think your relationship with someone is wrong just because it's different to what happens in films.

If anyone has any ideas on posts I should write, please let me know in the comments.
A spring outfits will be up soon!

ABC.. Advice

ABC Advice
I haven't blogged in almost a week because I've been quite busy and I'm never too sure what to write, tonight I had an idea. There are 26 letters in the english alphabet so I am going to give you 26 pieces of advice / quotes. Sorry it's so long.
Some quotes are good, some are cheesy, some are daft, but does it really matter?
If your a typical teenager then you can probably relate to a lot of my quotes of advice.

A.1. ''Don't Be A Girl That Needs A Man, Be A Girl That A Man Needs'' I think this is a good quote because there is way too many fake girls out there today, people wear too much make-up, act like bitches and are just fake, nobody likes people like that.
B.2. ''People Change'' A lot of people think that everyones personalities will stay the same, but of course they won't everyone changes! People change so that you can learn to let go, even though eventually you might find out that you can only trust yourself.
C.3. No matter how detailed you plan things, they will probably go wrong. Things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right. Sometimes even good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
D.4. ''Happy Girls Are The Prettiest'' I think that this quote explains itself. Chin up and don't let anyone bring you down.
E.5. 'Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover'' Everyone judges eachother, just by looking at eachother and If you say that you don;t then your a liar, but  every single person has their own story, so don't judge someone until you know what they have been through.
F.6. ''Love The Life You Live'' You've really only got one shot at life, so deal with everything that gets thrown at you, no matter how hard it is, you can get through it.You shouldn't wish for a completely different life.
G.7. LIVE.LAUGH.LOVE, it's a little motto people should live by. Three words, but it explains so much. You should live your life because you never know what's around the corner. You should laugh, have good times and laughed at the people that looked down on you and love, who you want, whenever you want, but you know that sometimes everyone gets hurt. Its a part of life.
H.8. There isn't such a word as 'Hate'. Hate is just Jealousy. When people hate on you, it's because you have something that they want.
I.9. Don't waste your time trying to change the past. It's already happened and you can't change that. Life wasn't made for you to travel backwards. Look forward to what's ahead for you.
J.10. ''Be Thankful'' I bet your life could be so much worse, but it's not. So treasure it.
K.11. ''Count Your Smiles Instead Of Your Tears And Count Your Courage Instead Of Your Fears'' Be happy as who you are, if they are a true friend then they will except you no matter what. You shouldn't change for anyone.
L.12. '' I Like You'' Do not be ashamed to say it. It has to come out. You should tell them, if you don't want a reply then don't ask for one. Its better to get it off your heart before you get hurt. Falling for that person may never of been planned, but all you should ask is for them to respect how you feel.
M.13. Life is no storybook. No matter how many films you watch, your life will probably be completely different to love stories. Films are written by scriptwriters, they can make up anything they want, you've got to understand that in real life, it's never that easy.
N.14. ''Every Second Is A Chance To Turn Your Life Around'' if there is something you want to change, then go for it, don't be afraid of the answer, and never overthink things that you can't change.
O.15. ''My Life'' Everyones life is there own, make choices and decisions by yourself, depending on what you want out of it.
P.16. Success- no matter how hard things get don't quit. People who succeed, have gone through mistakes but they have carried on..they don't quit.
Q.17. Family are so important, even more important than friends. Friends come and go, but family has to stay. Deep down they will be there, no matter what you have done.
R.18. ''When People Stop Talking To You, They Start Talking About You'' when people walk out your life for no reason, you shouldn't let them back. Even if they come back with an excuse.
S.19. ''SMILE'' let everyone know that your a better and stronger person, you shouldn't have anything to frown about.
T.20.  ''Karma'' What goes around, comes around. I believe in Karma. If someone is nice to you then you should be nice back. If they bitch about you, be careful what you say.. Karma will get them, but it could get you too.
U.21.  If you are brave enough to say 'GoodBye' to someone/something, then you will be rewarded with a new 'Hello'
V.22. ''Don't Compare Yourself To Anyone Else In The World'' you are who you are for a reason, and you shouldn't have to change that but if you do compare yourself to other people then your are insulting yourself. It's better to be beautiful on the inside than on the out.
W.23. ''If Your Thinking Of Giving Up, Ask Yourself Why You Held On For So Long'' it's a true quote, just because things get tougher doesn't always mean that you should just take the easy option and quit.
X.24. ''Sometimes The Heart Sees What Is Invisible To The Eye'' looks aren't everything, personality will always shine through.
Y.25. In your head, you spend most of your time remembering old memories and thinking of perfect situations. Sometimes that's good, but why not go out and make those situations happen? You should have no regrets. What have you got to lose?
Z.26. He's Funny. He's Adorable. He's Sweet. He's Loving. He's Awkward. He's Caring. He's Beautiful. He's Awesome. He's Perfect.
I didn't mention any name then, but HE popped into your head didn't he?

Thanks for reading, comment below and let me know of any quotes you like? Or if you would like me to do an updated version using letter for letter advice.?

Make-Up..March Favourites

After thinking of what to blog about, I decided that it's only a couple of days into April so I would do a blog of the make-up products that I have loved the most in March.
So, i have chosen the five products that I have loved the most, so here they are :

First of all is the M.A.C Plush Lash Mascara, which was around £15. M.A.C isn't the cheapest brand but the all their products are of high quality. I got given this mascara as a gift and it's a great mascara that gives a good even coverage on your eyelashes. I have this mascara in black but I think this would also look really good in a brown/black shade because it whether you have a lot of it on or just a thin coat it looks lovely and stays quite well. Also, it stays on all day without smudging! It has a large 'fat' brush, that gives your eyelashes good length but it isn't clumpy, even though it has a big brush, it's easy to apply and doesn't smudge underneath your eyes!  Also, it is quite easy to remove with a normal make up wipe.

The second product that I have chosen is the CLINIQUE  Chubby Stick. They are around £10-£15 depending from where you get it from. Now I've never really been a lipstick lover, but when lipstick brands started bringing out nude colours, I started to like them. I get dry lips quite often and I never found a lipstick that would moisturize and have a great colour until I saw this. I'd heard a lot about these Chubby Sticks so I went and purchased one in the shade 06 Woppin' Watermelon. It is literally amazing. It's a baby pink shade but it doesn't make your lips really light, like a barbie doll, just a bit lighter, a nice shade. The best thing about this product is the fact that it moisturizes really well! It's not glossy, just matte but with a slight shine, which is good and it's highly pigmented which lasts throughout the day. Finally, because it is shaped like a crayon, then it is easy and quick to apply. If you haven't tried one of these, then I urge you too! It's a must have! And it comes in many different colours.

Another item that I have been loving lately is the Jack Wills Ladies Fragrance Rollerball. This mini perfume, fits great into your handbag and it smells amazing. I bought mine for £14.50. I find it hard to describe scents but it's just lovely, it's kind of flowery and girly but it's not that strong and over-powering it is just enough and I suppose it has a vintage side to it as well. You should go and try it because I have hopeless at describing things well! There is a slight difference between this one and another one, this one has blue writing on the box and there is another Jack Wills perfume with pink writing on the box, which isn't as nice because to me it was too over powering, but the one I have is called 'Fontwell Rollerball Scent' if that is any help? I came across this in the a Jack Wills shop, so I don't know if you can get it on the website, but I'm sure you can. Anyway it smells lovely and will be nice to wear as it is spring because it is a light perfume that just smells gorgeous.

Now this product, is a little handy thing that I thought I would add in, even though I've had it for a couple of months now, it is the AVON Perfect Eyebrow Pencil. I think it was around £3 which is a bargain. I think this is a great product because it has an eyebrow pencil one end and a brush on the other, so it's 2 in 1. I have this in the shade 'Blonde' because I'm blonde, (obviously aha) and it's perfect, I don't draw on my eyebrows completely  I only touch them up and fill in gaps and it does a really good job, I now use it daily.

Last but certainly not least on my March Beauty Favourites is the L'OREAL Paris Super Liner, Ultra Precision Eyeliner. I draw on my eye liner daily and out of all the liquid eyeliners that I have tried, this is one of the best. Its like a thin felt tip, and it's soft which makes it even easier to apply. I don't usually have a thick line of eyeliner, but this can do any.. it's easy for a thin line or a thick. I like black eyeliners and its high pigmented and looks fab, it doesn't smudge and it lasts all day.  It is easy to remove as well, which is a good thing. The price of this eyeliner is around £7-£8 pound and I suppose that is kind a bit pricey for a high street (drug store) brand, but it is definitely worth it.

Well, they have been my favourite make up products this past month. I hope you have enjoyed reading this, please let me know (by commenting)  if you have tried these products or if there is any products that you think I should try!

Get To Know Me

Hello, my name is Erin Williams and this will be my blog.
I've set one up because my friend  +Ellie Jones set up a blog because she has great things to tell people and she didn't want to set up a blog on her own, so I thought that I would create one aswell.

My Blog posts are slightly more varied, covering beauty, life stories, teenage life and maybe a bit of fashion.

This first blog might be slightly boring as it is going to be all about myself, my family and my friends. Purely so you can get to know me because my blogs probably won't say much about me as a person, but beware as I am not so great as describing myself.

My full name is just Erin Williams because I don't have a middle name:( and I'm about 5ft6''. I have long dark blonde hair and deep blue eyes. I am from Flintshire, in North Wales (UK) so I am Welsh and proud. I speak fluent welsh, english, and a bit of french and portuguese.
I have an older brother called Adam who is 19 and I live with him and my Mum & Dad. Altogether I have a large family who mainly live in North Wales but also I have family scattered everywhere, I have relatives who live close to me in Wales, but also family who live further away like in Cumbria (North West of England), New Zealand and Canada.
Here is a recent picture of me..

I'm really lucky because me and my family go abroad a couple of times a year, whether we go skiing or sunbathing, I get to visit countries like France, Portugal, Switzerland etc. But sometime I would love to travel to America !
Here is a couple of pictures from last years holidays!

I have many friends, and I enjoy life. I am quite sporty and love to play netball, yet I'm interested in beauty, blogging and fashion aswell.
I don't take life that seriously, no matter what I do I can make great fun of it, so me and my best friends Ellie & Megan set up a YouTube account of things we have done, videos we have made and events we have been too, please check it out.. http://www.youtube.com/user/erinelliemegan

I hope you like my blog and here is all my links to get in touch with me...
